At Peas and Carrots by Ashley, I believe that crafting is an art. It's a form of self-expression that tells your unique story.
I started sewing (smocking, heirloom sewing , appliqué, bedding, drapes, monogramming, etc) when my oldest was a baby. I’ve always been crafty and I honed those skills over the past 25+ years. Through the many seasons of life I’ve ventured into many other crafts, which led me to restarting my business during this new chapter of my life. 25 years later, my 2 oldest are grown and flown, and my youngest 2 are in middle and high school, so I finally have a little time for myself. I make bracelets; I monogram almost anything; I make Christmas ornaments, wedding/ housewarming gifts, baby items, wedding decor; I make cheer pompom tags, wreath sashes, wall calendars… if you can dream it, I can make that dream come true!
My company name came from my oldest daughter, Barrett. When she was learning to speak, specifically learning to say her “please and thank you’s” - she would say “peas and carrots”, so I named my business after this fond memory to always remind me of my greatest gift, my children💕
